Get ready to don your green and join the lucky throngs on the Grand Strand for one of the region’s most beloved spring traditions — the 36th Annual North Myrtle Beach St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival! Taking place on Saturday, March 14, 2026, this spirited celebration promises a day packed with Irish cheer, community fun, and family-friendly excitement.

The festivities kick off bright and early with the St. Patrick’s Day Parade, starting at 9:00 a.m. along Ocean Boulevard and Main Street in North Myrtle Beach. This beloved parade is known as the largest St. Patrick’s Day parade on the Grand Strand, featuring more than a hundred creative and festive entries that fill the streets with color, music, and smiles. To secure a great viewing spot, locals and visitors alike are encouraged to arrive by 8:30 a.m. with chairs, blankets, and plenty of holiday spirit.

As soon as the parade winds down, the party continues with the street festival on Main Street from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This free, rain-or-shine celebration brings the Irish spirit to life with three stages of live entertainment, including traditional Irish music, dancing, and performances that keep the energy high throughout the afternoon.

Festival goers can wander through more than 100 local vendors offering crafts, food, and unique goods, while kids enjoy rides, games, and activity areas. Don’t miss signature events like the Leprechaun Contest and the classic Shepherd’s Pie Eating Contest for a bit of quirky competition and extra fun.

Whether you’re a longtime local or planning your first visit, the North Myrtle Beach St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival is a must-see event that blends tradition, community pride, and seaside charm.
