Amazing! Friendly! Clean! Kirsten and Shelly are the best bartenders at best western ocean sands tiki bar. Rocking it out. The hotel is great. But the bartenders make it happen!

Great place to stay Hotel is great this is our second year staying here and plan to stay again next year. Everyone at the front desk has been great and the cleaning ladies always make sure we have what we need. Shelly at the tiki bar is always amazing with a smile on her face. She even recognize us from last year!!

Book your trip quick! 8th year coming here and they haven't let us down yet! The breakfast has always been pleasing, the pool is always clean, and they even have the steel drum band perform on some nights. There is also a tiki bar by the pool. Shelley at the tiki bar remembers us every year and we get to catch up like old friends. Can't wait to book next year's trip.

Fantastic! The place was amazing I got the parking pass and the room in a good order. I had no problem with check in, the beach is close!

Our Home Away From Home for Over 20 Years! We’ve been coming to the Best Western Ocean Sands in North Myrtle Beach for over 20 years, and it never disappoints! This place truly feels like our home away from home. The staff is always warm, welcoming, and helpful — many of them have been here for years, which says a lot about the quality and consistency of this hotel.

The oceanfront rooms are our favorite — clean, comfortable, and offering unbeatable views. Waking up to the sunrise over the ocean and enjoying coffee on the balcony has become a tradition we look forward to every trip.

The amenities are excellent — we love the beachfront pool, lazy river, and the fun tiki bar right on the beach. The free hot breakfast every morning is a huge plus and always well stocked with a great variety.

The location is ideal — right on the beach, close to everything, but still peaceful and family-friendly. Over the years, we’ve watched this hotel maintain its charm while also continuing to improve.

Whether it’s your first visit or your 21st, we can’t recommend the Best Western Ocean Sands enough. This hotel has been part of our family’s memories for decades, and we’re already looking forward to our next stay!

Clean, comfortable, safe! Great hotel! Clean, comfortable rooms. This place has become my home away from home! The hotel is older, but they've done many updates over the past couple of years. My friend and I love it and the staff have become like family to us! Go visit the ladies at the Tiki bar, they are the BEST! Breakfast is wonderful (and free)!

Beautiful beach front property! Love staying here! Rooms are spacey and clean. Love all the staff, they make us feel at home and are quick to address anything we may need or have a concern with. They have several parking lots for their properties. Love the pools and lazy river, especially the Tiki Bar with their wonderful, friendly bartenders. Breakfast is full of many choices and they supply fruited water along with coffee all day for your convenience. My family has been staying at this property for over 40 years, it feels like home!

Hidden Treasure Just steps from the ocean this recently remodel hotel offers clean and comfortable rooms! The friendly and efficient staff does an excellent job making your stay enjoyable! Great stay with beach front views Our family had such a great time at Best Western Ocean Sands Resort. It is located right on the beach and is walking distance to the beach and other waterfront local restaurants and bars. I recommend walking down to Molly Darcys and having lunch on the back deck. The place was perfect for our family getaway—family-friendly for the younger kids, linens were comfy and light-weight. They were not scratchy or too thick. The view of the ocean from our room was amazing. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony at night and listening to the waves from the ocean. We also loved the restaurant downstairs—great variety of food and drinks, something for everyone. Each day we stopped by the It was quick to go downstairs, grab lunch, and then hit the beach or pool. I would def take my family there again for a long weekend.

Always wonderful!! We have been coming here for almost 16 years. The staff is amazing! It is always immaculate, the breakfast is wonderful, and there are no high rises next to the building, so the beach in front is more open. We have stayed in the smaller rooms, the large 3 bdrm penthouse, and the Queen suites. You cannot go wrong booking here!!

Best western ocean view It was our first time in South Carolina, after a delay with flights we arrived late, and the staff was amazing!! They were so accommodating and so nice. But the best part of our stay was the great amazing bartender and awesome person Shelly! She is unbelievable warm hearted soul! And a great bartender!!!

Family vacation with the grandkids. We have a great time with Shelly when she's working. She's always a happy person and she makes everyone feel at home. Never a dull moment with Shelly working..She brings out the happiness in everyone. My grandkids loves seeing Shelly when she is working. She's the best

Great place Everything was great. View, food, rooms, staff. Small lazy river but still enjoyed. Tiki bar best. Outside and inside pools. Loved the weekend live music. Shell searching a Must. Ocean nice and warm. Alot To do near by. Rooms spacious. Family of 7 ages 10-66 and all enjoyed.

Shelly Shelly at the tiki bar is awesome! Very friendly and chatty with suggestions of local places to visit. I was a little disappointed with the condition of the resort overall, needs some updating but that’s just my opinion. Great location to the beach and happy overall with everything.

Fun times at the Tiki Bar beach side We LOVE The Best Western & The Tiki Bar!! The hotel is right on the beach with a pool & lazy river! That alone makes the stay fantastic bc you can go to the beach and then head to the pool and get a drink at The Tiki Bar! The music will get you in the vacation mood quickly! Shelly was our Bartender & she was fabulous, friendly, fast and attentive to us! Kinda reminded me like my long time friend was bartending in my back yard. Lol. Kirsten has also been our bartender for as long as I can remember. We have been coming to this place for YEARS & will continue to do so! Thr beds are so comfortable too! LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!!

10/10 Ive been coming here for years, and have been a return customer for the clean rooms, lovely pools, beach side acess, and wonderful, amazing, talented bar tender Shelly. The staff is always friendly, the beach is always nice, and the music is always pumping
