Irish Fest – March 6th

Need a little luck of the Irish after 2021? The upcoming Irish Festival has just what you need! Located at The Market Commons from 11:00 am – 7:00pm, this festival will have lots of beer, good food, live music, and family fun.

Annual Run to the Sun Car Show – March 18th – 20th

A classic known to those familiar with the Grand Strand area both near and far is the Annual run to the Sun Car Show. For over 30 years, fans of classic cars have flocked to this even to get their fix of the greased lightning. The 31st Annual Car Show will be located at the Myrtle Beach Square Mall Site.

Annual Helicopter Easter Egg Drop & Hunt at Thompson Farm – March 20th

Looking for a way to make this Easter special for your little ones? Look no further than Thompson Farm’s 8th Annual Helicopter Easter Egg Drop & Hunt. Add some adventure to this special time from 11 am to 4pm with activities including socially distanced pictures with the Easter Bunny, a petting zoo, hayrides, and the ever-exciting egg hunt. Thompson Farm is a bit farther off just outside of the Conway area, but the trip will no doubt be worth it.

The Blue Crab Festival – May 15th – 16th

Here we have another Grand Strand classic event to look forward to, and one of the tastiest ones. With some of the tastiest seafood in the country, The Blue Crab Festival is one of the largest festivals in the Southeast and has consistently been awarded the Best Event/Festival on the Grand Strand. This festival is on the historic Little River waterfront from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. Tickets are $5, and children under 12 are free.

2021 Myrtle Beach Marathon – May 1st

Have some fitness goals you want to meet? Have you taken up running in 2021? Well mark your calendars for 2021 Myrtle Beach Marathon. Postponed from the original date of MArch 6th, this event will now be held on May 1st starting at 7:00 am. A classic and favorite of the area, this marathon allows participants to reach their goals all while enjoying the gorgeous weather and scenery Myrtle Beach has to offer.

The Carolina Country Music Festival – June 10th – 13th

Here’s the big one – The Carolina Country Music Festival. Another favorite to the area that was originally postponed last year has its new dates set for later this Summer and are promising all kinds of fun and entertainment. With acts including Luke Combs, Eric Church, Darius Rucker, and so many more, this 3-day festival is guaranteed to be a rocking good time!

SOS Spring Safari – June 19-26

Put on your dancing shoes because it’s time again for the SOS Spring Safari! Shagging has been a historic part of South Carolina history for decades, and the love of the dance has only persisted since its hay day. Each year, thousands of shaggers and members of The Society of Stranders flock to the North Myrtle Beach to celebrate the end of the winter season with great music and even better dancing. With 8 days of nonstop fun, attendees can look forward to competitions and prizes, popular bands playing old favorites, and opportunities to learn from professional shag instructors.
