March 11: Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival in North Myrtle Beach 

Kick off your St. Patrick’s Day with a dose of some luck of the Irish with North Myrtle Beach’s Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival right on Main Street! The parade starts at 11:00 am and is followed by an incredible festival that has been attracting thousands of visitors each until 4:00 pm with fun for the entire family! This year the festival includes two live music stages, a shepherds pie eating contest, a large dedicated kids area full of carnival rides and games and more mouth watering food than you can imagine!  

March 16th – March 18th: 34th Annual Run to the Sun Car & Truck Show

Calling all car lovers, the Annual Run to the Sun Car & Truck Show is back for another iconic weekend at the Old Myrtle Square Mall! This beloved event  has brought thousands of classic-car enthusiasts to the Grand Strand for decades to appreciate some of the coolest pre-1989 cars and trucks, and will last daily from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Visitors will get to see thousands of classic cars of all types and models each day during this event , and awards will be given in multiple categories. Even better, the Annual Run to the Sun Car & Truck Show raises money for the Children’s Miracle Network, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, and many other local charities along the grand strand as well as ones nationwide! 

March 31st – April 2nd: Myrtle Beach Food Truck Festival 

Attention all foodies and just about anyone that likes food, because the Myrtle Beach Food Truck Festival is slated for March 31st through April 2nd and you do not want to miss it! This crowd favorite event is held in Downtown Myrtle Beach at the Burroughs & Chapin Pavilion Place, and it brought over 50 food trucks at last year’s event with so many diverse options to try! People from all over the area came to try the best of the best brews and food on the Grand Strand and you don’t want to miss it again this year, as it’s sure to just be bigger and better! This year includes more food than you can imagine, live entertainment, craft beer & wine, and lots and lots of local vendors. 

April 8th: 41st Annual North Myrtle Beach Easter Egg Hunt 

The 41st Annual North Myrtle Beach Easter Egg Hunt is hopping into town on Saturday, April 8th! The event starts at McLean Park at 10:00 sharp and is free to everyone. This event is hosted by the North Myrtle Beach Parks and Recs Department and has been a local favorite for years. The egg hunt itself will be divided into age categories, there will be prizes available, plenty of great photo ops, and there’s even word that the Easter Bunny will be there to hand out candy to all of the children! 

April 8th: Myrtle Beach Parks & Recs Department Spring Fest

Another great way to spring into celebrating the holiday this year is at the Myrtle Beach PArks & Recs Department Spring Fest! Join locals and visitors alike in welcoming the spring time back to the beach at the field next to the Crabtree Memorial Gym on April 8th from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. There’s something for everyone – kids can participate in an epic egg hunt and meet the Easter Bunny, while parents and adults can shop at the spring vendors! Food and drinks will be had, a plant swap, and so much more at this celebration! 

April 10th: Monday After the Masters 

What started as a small get together among friends to raise money for charity way back in 1994 has evolved into what is now the iconic Monday After the Masters, an annual celebratory Pro-Am golf tournament hosted by the band Hootie and the Blowfish in Myrtle Beach! This tournament brings together celebrities and pro golfers alike, in the past guests have ranged from Samuel L Jackson, Darius Rucker, Dan MArino, ARnold, Palmer, Woody Austin, and Tiger Woods. Monday After the Masters has raised millions of dollars for the SC Junior Golf program and local children’s educational programs. This all day event has incredible volunteer opportunities and is held at the Barefoot Resort & Dye Course in North Myrtle Beach. 

April 18th – 22nd: Myrtle Beach International Film Festival 

Billed around the country as ‘the East Coast’s answer to the Sundance Film Festival’ the Myrtle Beach Film Festival has been making waves throughout the filmmaking industry as one to mark on your calendar. It was ranked in the top twenty-five film festivals out of more than 5,000 and has industry professionals and every day film enthusiasts alike singing its praises. This year the festival will be held at the Stone Theatres Grand 14 at The Market Commons, with the beautiful backdrop of myrtle beach adding to the wonder of the experience. The Myrtle BEach film FEstival features films and filmmakers from all over the world and works of all genres, along with incredible opportunities for networking, forums, food, and events! 

May 20th – 21st: Little River Blue Crab Festival 

Come join this world famous locally cherished tradition at the beautiful Historic Little River Waterfront! The Little River Blue Crab Festival started as a small community gathering and has only grown with more and more love each year, and this year being the 41st is sure to be the best one yet! From 9:00 until 5:00 on both May 20th and 21st you and the entire family can enjoy not just crab but delectable fresh seafood and mouth watering festival fare! Enjoy scenic views, local vendors and craftsmen, beach music, dancing, and so much more. Year after year the Little River Blue Crab Festival works to bring the community together as one to improve and support each other in the common goal of community pride and success!
